CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
MROLEC KIDS is a ministry for children from three years old, with the purpose of sharing Jesus Christ and providing spiritual lessons for life in a child-friendly setting. The varying format of the classes which are always full of fun and Bible stories show the children that church can be an enjoyable experience. They are treated as individuals and taught the value of appreciating each other. Confidence in God as a loving heavenly Father is instilled early in life as a key building block to assist them in developing a sense of security and identity.
Our Youth Church is dedicated to equipping young people with knowledge and life skills relevant to their day to day experiences. We see our youth as leaders of tomorrow and our commission is to groom and develop them for future leadership inside and outside the church environment. We teach biblical truths that help them live victoriously as young Christians in their often challenging social environments.
Equipping them with tools for:
- witnessing the gospel;
- dealing with peer pressure;
- relating to parents and siblings;
- God-honouring dating;
- principles of high achievements and many others is part of our mission.
We encourage our youth to discover, develop and exercise both their spiritual gifts and natural talents.
Children are a gift from the Lord. - Psalm 127:3
MROLEC Kids offers Sunday morning activities and special events throughout the year for babies through fifth grade.

What We Believe
We believe the children of MROLEC have been placed in our ministry by the sovereign hand of God. The Children's Ministry takes seriously the opportunity God has given us to impact their lives for eternity. As we teach children the following biblical truths, we will love each child unconditionally just as Christ loves each one of us:
- We believe it is important for children to love God. We teach them to live lives that are pleasing to God.
- We desire for the children to love Jesus, their Savior. The Scriptures lovingly describe how parents would bring their children to Jesus for Him to bless and how Jesus said we must become like little children if we are to enter the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 18:3). It is a privilege for us to share with children that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died for our sins, rose from the dead and will return for them.
- We also want them to love the Bible. Children learn that the Bible is the Living Word of God, the absolute truth and the standard by which they should live. They also discover that God's Word is fun to read and describes how much God loves them.
Sunday Mornings
Children birth through fifth grade are invited to join us each Sunday morning to learn about Jesus and the great stories of the Bible.
The team at the children’s welcome desk in the atrium of the children’s building is available to answer questions and give class assignments. First time visitors are asked to fill out a visitor card. Visitor cards can be printed and completed ahead of time.
Out of love and concern for the children in our care, all volunteers go through an orientation process that includes a background check and procedure training. We also equip our teachers every month with new ways they can minister to your child.
For security purposes, our teachers have photo ID badges so they can be easily identified.
