TWO KINDS OF FAITH (Part 1)

Summary:
There are two kinds of truth that produce two kinds of faith. You have to decide which truth you will allow to govern your life.
- There are two kinds of truth that produce two kinds of faith.
- The first kind of truth is truth that comes from God’s Word (John 17:17).
- The walk of faith is based on the truth of God’s Word.
- Faith is a practical expression of your confidence in God and His Word.
- No Word, no faith.
- The second kind of truth is sense-knowledge truth, or truth based on your physical senses.
- Walking by your physical senses is based on sense-knowledge truth.
- The first kind of truth is truth that comes from God’s Word (John 17:17).
- Whatever you embrace as your truth determines your destiny.
- You have to decide which truth will govern your life.
- You have a choice to either be governed by sense-knowledge truth, or the truth of God’s Word.
- The decision to follow God’s Word must be solidified before the battle.
- Believers must be governed by faith, or the truth of God’s Word, and not sense-knowledge truth (2 Corinthians 5:7).
- Sense-knowledge truth is fact, but God’s Word is truth.
- It may be a fact the pain in your body is real, but the truth of God’s Word states you’re healed.
- Sense-knowledge truth is fact, but God’s Word is truth.
- Your senses were given by God to aid you in this physical realm.
- Your senses were never intended to govern your life.
- You’ve been trained to operate based on sense-knowledge truth.
- Sense-knowledge truth becomes a problem when it contradicts God’s Word.
- You cannot understand God with your senses.
- Faith is for operating in the spiritual realm.
- Faith is the reality of things you can’t see.
- What you can see is subject to change.
- What you can’t see is eternal.
- Faith based on the Word is unchangeable.
- Base God’s promise on what He said, not on how you feel.
- To be successful in your faith walk, you must control your emotions.
- When negative emotions are allowed to take charge of your life, they will lead you away from the truth of God’s Word.
- You have to decide which truth will govern your life.
- John 17:17
- 2 Corinthians 5:7
