THE PERSONALITY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Posted by Robert Bagonza on Tuesday, January 11, 2011
Summary:
When the Holy Spirit, Who is love, came to live within you, He poured all that He is into you. As a result, you are
equipped to love others beyond your natural, human ability to love. You
are capable of walking in God’s unconditional love.
- In the kingdom of God, 1+1+1 = 1 (1 John 5:6-7).
- The Holy Trinity is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit: one God, but three different functions.
- Example: Bishop Bagonza Robert is a father, a husband and the pastor of a church; when he
is ministering from the pulpit, he’s functioning as a pastor, not as
Evelyn Bagonza's husband.

- God is love (1John 4:8).
- When you became born again, the Holy Spirit poured God’s love into your heart (Romans 5:5, AMP).
- Jesus asked the Father to give us His love (John 17:23).
- God wants you to be strengthened with His might (Ephesians 3:16-17).
- Might is “an ability or anointing to do anything.”
- Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing, dwells in your heart by faith.
- Love is the root to your faith, anointing and power.
- You must have character before you can have power.
- Character is “doing what’s right because it’s right, and then doing it right.”
- Walking in love is right.
- The Holy Trinity is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit: one God, but three different functions.
- The personality of the Holy Spirit is revealed in His name.
- Jesus called the Holy Spirit “the Comforter.”
- His mission is to bring comfort to every area of your life—including anywhere you are experiencing discomfort.
- Jesus had to leave so the Comforter could come.
- Jesus told the disciples it would be expedient for Him to go away (John 16:5-7).
- Expedient means “profitable; good; to their advantage.”
- The Comforter has come, and it is time for Christians to start walking in their advantage.
- When you operate in the love that the Holy Spirit has provided, it will ensure your comfort.
- Jesus called the Holy Spirit “the Comforter.”
- The Holy Spirit will reveal the true sons and daughters of God.
- Sonship with God is defined as “a man or woman who, by the power of God, brings deliverance and liberty to mankind.”
- Believers should be doing greater works than what Jesus did while He was on the earth (John 14:12, AMP).
- Religion considers it heresy to believe that you can act like God.
- The Holy Spirit is a Teacher Who will teach you how to be a “little god” (a
replica of God) on earth. You are to resemble your heavenly Father.

- The attributes of the Holy Spirit
- The Holy Spirit is the oil of joy (Isaiah 61:3).
- You cannot be filled with the Holy Spirit and not have joy in your life.
- You have been anointed with the oil of gladness (Psalm 45:7).
- Joy works like medicine (Proverbs 17:22).
- Joy comes from what you know from the Word of God.
- A joyful spirit will sustain you through bodily pain or trouble (Proverbs 18:14, AMP).
- Bitterness brings trouble (Hebrews 12:15).
- The love of God that was poured into your heart determines your access to revelation (enlightenment, direction).
- If you are not developing in love, you will most likely not hear from God.
- Love cannot communicate with strife.
- When you love others, it is proof that you love God (Matthew 22:37-40).
- Love is the platform by which the law and commandments function; without the platform, you will just have a form of godliness with no power.
- It was Jesus’ compassion that enabled Him to heal, deliver and set free.
- When you are anointed with the Holy Spirit, your praise enters a higher dimension.
- High praise is a fundamental requirement for moving God to take over your battles so that you can become a spectator.
- You are sure to have sweatless victories when you operate on a high-praise frequency.
- High praise stills the Enemy.
- When the Holy Spirit shows up, so does favor.
- When you carry the anointing of the Holy Spirit, your name is sweet and
creates an expectation (Song of Solomon 1:3); you’ll “smell good” to God
and enjoy love and favor from others. - People will want to do things for you because of the anointing that is on your life.
- Success is the foundation of favor.
- When you carry the anointing of the Holy Spirit, your name is sweet and
creates an expectation (Song of Solomon 1:3); you’ll “smell good” to God
- The Holy Spirit is the oil of joy (Isaiah 61:3).
