THE LAW OF THE KINGDOM.

Summary:
Faith is the law of the kingdom of God. As citizens of the kingdom, the Word of God is our constitution and the source of our faith. We are the just, and we live by faith. We must cast down fear-based thoughts by speaking faith-filled words. When we give God’s Word first place in our lives, He will speak to us, giving us specific instructions. Breakthrough comes when we receive a rhema Word from God.
- “An angel appeared to Mary and told her that she was highly favored and blessed of the Lord” (Luke 1:27-38).
- Seeing the angel frightened Mary (Luke 1:29).
- Fear can abort God’s Word in your heart.
- The angel said to her, “Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God” (Luke 1:30).
- Capture fear-based thoughts by speaking the Word of God.
- Our thoughts submit to the words we speak.
- The angel informed Mary that she would give birth to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (Luke 1:31-35).
- The angel also told her that her cousin, who was barren, had conceived a child in her old age.
- He expounded upon these miracles and said, “For with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:36-37).
- Mary responded to the Word of God, saying: “Be it unto me according to thy word” (Luke 1:38).
- Conception took place when Mary received (took ownership of) the angel’s words.
- The Word became flesh. Spiritual things can manifest into physical things.
- When we are diligent about giving God’s Word attention, He will give us a rhema Word, which is a Word spoken directly to us.
- We cannot enter into the kingdom of God if we do not believe His Word and that His kingdom exists (Matthew 21:28-32).
- Every kingdom has a constitution of basic law. The Word of God is the constitution of God’s kingdom.
- The law (or the teaching) of God’s Word is perfect (Psalm 19:7-8).
- Without faith, it is impossible to please God. We must believe that He is and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).
- Faith is the law of the kingdom of God (Romans 3:27).
- Our blessings are blocked when we doubt.
- Whatsoever is not of faith is sin (Romans 14:23).
- The sin of not believing in Jesus is what people will be judged for (John 16:8-9).
- The just shall live by faith (Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38).
