SEVEN STEPS TO ANSWERED PRAYER: STEP TWO
Posted by Robert Bagonza on Saturday, September 25, 2010
Summary:
The second step to receiving answers to your prayers is to ask God for what you want and believe that you receive it.
- You must ask God for what you want and believe that you receive those things you ask for
when you pray.
- God knows what you need before you ask (Matthew 6:8, 32).
- You must continue to come before Him and ask Him for what you want.
- You are the one who is responsible for asking.
- God is a loving Father who wants to answer your requests (Luke 11:11-13; Matthew 7:7-11).
- Remaining connected to God is essential to getting answers to your prayers.
- Create an atmosphere for answered prayer by abiding in God and allowing His Word to abide in you
(John 15:7).
- Create an atmosphere for answered prayer by abiding in God and allowing His Word to abide in you
(John 15:7).
- You must know the will of God to receive answers to your prayers.
- The will of God is the Word of God.
- When you know the Word of God, you will have confidence that what you pray is in line with His will (1
John 5:14, 15).
- Believe that you receive when you pray (Mark 11:24).
- You will have those things that you believe you receive.
- When you ask God for something, be sure you have pure motives and not selfish ones.
- Wrong motives, wrong intentions and selfishness will hinder your prayers from being answered (James 4:1-5).
- Pray for others and your prayers will be answered.
- When you ask God for something that is in line with His Word, and you receive it,
your joy will be full (John 16:23, 24).
- Believe God for the finished work.
- Everything you need is available in the spiritual realm.
- Use your faith to pull it out of the unseen (spiritual) realm and into the natural.
- The spiritual realm is more real than the natural realm.
