RECAPTURING THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS

Summary:
Christmas should be the greatest celebration of our lives because it marks the day Jesus was born and salvation was made
available to mankind. The foundation of Christmas is currently under
attack and as a Christian you must not allow the world to steal the
celebration of Jesus' birth.
- Every year Christmas should be celebrated as the greatest day of our lives.
- Christmas marks the birth of Jesus and the day salvation was introduced into the earth (Luke 2:1-20).
- Jesus, the Savior, was born to save people from their sins.
- The angels were praising God when Jesus was born.
- We must acknowledge Jesus Christ at Christmas rather than just saying
"Happy Holidays."

- Christians should stand up and let the world know why Christmas is important.
- Refrain from shopping at stores and businesses that have replaced the phrase "Merry Christmas" with "Happy Holidays."
- Saying "Merry Christmas" is honoring Jesus.
- Christians should not allow the world to steal the celebration of Jesus' birth.
- Christians should not become victims of the world's viewpoint regarding Christmas
and its rejection of Jesus.
- Jesus is the reason for the season.
- Because Jesus was born, all people were given the gift of salvation which includes the
right to:
- Righteousness
- Deliverance
- Healing
- Prosperity
- Peace
- Through Jesus, God brought you out of bondage to the enemy, established you in His love and gave you a reason to praise Him (Psalm 40:1-3).
