There is a difference between believing with the heart and trying to understand spiritual things with the intellect. Believing with the heart is what gets results in the kingdom of God.

To believe with the heart (or spirit) means to believe apart from what the intellect and the five senses can comprehend. In other words, our spirit man believes beyond what is seen with the natural eye. Our spirits are designed to believe the Word of God despite what circumstances indicate. Therefore, the first step to believing with the spirit is to feed the spirit with the Word of God.

God’s Word can still do everything today that Jesus did when He walked the earth. God sent His Word to heal, deliver, and provide for us; however, we must believe with our hearts that He will do what His Word says. To believe with the heart means to believe with the spirit, which is the unseen core of a person. Believing with the heart is believing apart from what the physical senses tell us.
