Summary:
Often, we do not know how vital something is to our lives
until we don’t have it. For example, we need food and water to survive. When we
lack a vital necessity—it becomes precious. How much more then is the value of
the blood of Jesus? Without His precious sacrifice, we would all be sentenced
to die spiritually, and endure eternal death.
- Why
is the blood of Jesus so precious?
- The
blood of Jesus is precious because it redeems.
- Redeem,
as it relates to the blood of Jesus, means that our freedom was
bought back. Our deliverance was not purchased with mere silver and
gold, but with the precious, spotless blood of the lamb (1 Peter
       1:18-19, Galatians 3:13-14).
- We
have been delivered from the power of Satan, and he is defeated forever.

- We
have been brought under a new Kingdom—the Kingdom of God.
- The
blood of Jesus is precious because it blots out sins, and purges our
conscience from the guilt of sin.
- Before
Jesus died at Calvary, the blood of animals was used to cover sins.
However, Jesus’ blood wipes sin out (Hebrews 9:13-14).
- God
will no longer remember our sins (Hebrews 8:10, 12, Psalm 103:10-12).
- Believers
are free indeed because of Jesus. He has set us free by laying down His
       life for us (John 8:36).
